Adventure Zone Playground is an accessible playground that allows all children, regardless of their ability, to play side by side.

Adventure Zone Playground will be part of Adventure Zone at 1775 Lambs Gap Road in Hampden & Silver Spring Townships. It is the first playground of its kind on the West Shore and the second of its kind in the Harrisburg area.

Adventure Zone Playground will be the result of hundreds of individuals and businesses partnering for a better community.

Adventure Zone Playground will be part of a 53 acre community park being developed by Capital Area Christian Church. The park also includes picnic pavilions, soccer fields, volleyball courts, softball fields, a winter recreation area, and fitness trail.

Purchase Tiles & Pickets

Wood Tiles $10.00
Great fun for anyone, especially young kids. Your hand painted design will become a permanent part of the playground. Each wooden tile is 5" x 5" and may be painted as you choose.
Fence Pickets $50.00
Each picket will be routed with your name or personal message, the personalized pickets will surround the playground. Each picket can accommodate up to 20 characters, including spaces. Personalized fence pickets are a great way to publicly display your support for the local community, at an affordable cost.

Sponsor a Piece of Equipment

Everyone can own a little piece of the playground. When you sponsor a piece of play equipment, your name will be placed on a bronze or copper plaque on or near the item and will become a permanent part of the playground. Here is a list of the components that are available to be underwritten.

Contribute

Donations will be acknowledged on a donor recognition board at the entrance to the park. In addition, donations at the gold and silver levels will receive permanent gold or silver plaques within the park. For a significant contribution towards the cost of the flooring, a donor may also get an inlay of their choice (company name, etc.) in the rubber flooring. Additional recognition opportunities may be available based on donation. All donations are tax-deductible.
